The Department of Clinical Pharmacy launches the scientific visits program for fourth-level students to the Yemeni Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industry Company

 The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university launched the scientific visits program for fourth-level students to the Yemeni Egyptian Company for the manufacture and trade of medicines. Where the first group descended to the company in the presence of the technician of the joint medical laboratories, Dr. Ali Al-Abahi and Dr. Abdullah Saad Allah, a faculty member in the department.

 During the visit, the students got acquainted with the various departments and units "production, control, laboratories, examination, quality, warehouses, machinery, manufacturing devices, analysis and quality control devices" and other units and manufacturing divisions of the company. And learn about the steps and stages of drug manufacturing, starting with the entry of materials into the warehouses and ending with their exit as a final product.

 The students listened to an explanation from the concerned staff in the various departments about the work mechanism in each department, the workflow of the production lines at the level of the company's factories, the quality and technology standards used, and the various aspects related to the manufacture of medicine in all departments.

 The visit comes within the framework of the university's keenness to harmonize between the theoretical and practical aspects in the relevant specialized authorities, in order to provide students with more knowledge and practical experience and raise the level of their scientific and practical skills.

 It is indicated that the visits will continue during the coming weeks for the remaining student groups in the fourth level.
