Discussing graduation research for students of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy for the academic year 1443 AH corresponding to 2021/2022

 

 University notification

 

 The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences discussed the graduation research for the third batch students of the department for the academic year 1443 AH corresponding to 2021-2022 AD. In the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi, and Prof. Dr. Abdelbaset Al-Ghouri, Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, and a number of faculty members in the department, members of the discussion committees and research supervisors, and a number of students of the department also attended the public discussion And a number of medical departments in the college.

 

 Where the first group presented their graduation research titled: Antibiogram Development for Neonatal Intensive CareUnit at Referral Healthcare Center in Sana'a City, Yemen

 

 The research is a neonatal antibiogram within the intensive care unit of the University of Science and Technology Hospital. On how to choose the appropriate antibiotic as an empirical test for bacterial infection, it talks about the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics, how the mechanism of resistance works, what are the solutions, and raising awareness about the indiscriminate use and spread of antibiotic resistance.

 

 The research was presented by the students: Masoud Khaled Rassam, Ayman Ahmed Al-Habashi, Noman Muhammad Abdel-Majid, Muhammad Hassan Al-Nuzili, Amr Abdullah Nasher, Khaled Ali Al-Adaini, Magdi Muhammad Seif, Alaa El-Din Fouad Al-Salawi, Lul Abdel-Rahman Amr, Yusra Ahmed Al-Mashmaly, and Ghada Adnan Salah. It is supervised by Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi and Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Kabbas.

 

 The second student group presented their research entitled: Evaluation of Secondary Prevention Medications among Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome in Sana'a city, Yemen.

 

 The study was an evaluation of secondary treatment in patients with myocardial infarction by following up patients' files between January 2020 to December 2021 in three hospitals in the capital, Sana'a, Al-Thawra Hospital, Science and Technology Hospital, and Lebanon Specialized Hospital in Cardiology.

 

 The research was submitted by the students: Salah El-Din Mansour, Haifa Mohamed Al-Hadary, Ali Ahmed Al-Matar, Jehan Saeed Al-Sabri, Imad Saleh Naji, Mohamed Sadiq Al-Barhi, Mohsen Mohamed Al-Assad, Ibrahim Abdel-Bari Al-Qarm, Alaa Abdel-Rahman Zaid and Minya Najeeb Rashid. It is supervised by Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi and Dr. Abdullah Saleh Ahmed Saad Allah.

 

 The discussion committee was formed of Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri and Prof. Dr. Abdelbaset Al-Ghouri.
