 The College of Engineering and Information Technology - Medical Equipment Engineering Department inaugurated this morning, Sunday morning, the practical training program for the fourth-level students in cooperation with the Medical Eng Training Center, in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. .

 At the inauguration of the program, the president of the university, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, affirmed the university's keenness to implement training programs that achieve integration between what is taken in the classroom and what is required in the labor market.

 For his part, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, and the Head of the Medical Equipment Engineering Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Alfi, urged the students to take advantage of the training program and acquire practical skills that qualify them to compete in the labor market with merit and confidence.

 The training program, which will be implemented during the period from November 13, 2022 to February 13, 2023 AD, aims to apply the students to a number of medical devices most commonly used in hospitals, and to identify the principles of work and operation of medical devices and the operating steps and procedures to be followed to ensure the proper performance of the devices and avoid problems of misuse. . As well as identifying the preventive and corrective maintenance found in device catalogs and how to follow them

 The program also aims to familiarize students with common malfunctions of medical devices and the way to track faults and how to fix them without causing new problems. In addition to identifying the method of installing and dismantling new medical devices or devices that need repair or maintenance, identifying the devices and tools to be used while dealing with medical devices, and identifying the method of writing reports related to medical devices such as purchase, acquisition, maintenance, and destruction reports, etc., as well as making tender offers and matching them .
