Discussion of graduation projects for students of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology for the first batch of the university begins

The College of Engineering and Information Technology at the Emirates International University began discussing the graduation projects of students from various departments of the college for its first batch. The final discussion of the first graduation projects for the Information Technology Department was the Educational Process Management System (A2ISO) project submitted by the students Ahmed Muhammad Ali Al-Kahlani and Abdullah Nasser Al-Hamati. The discussion took place in the presence of the Vice President of the University, Dr. Abdullah Farea Al-Azazi, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Seif, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Amin Aqlan, and a number of academics. Engineer Muhammad Ishaq and Dr. Anwar Al-Shamiri, Head of the Information Technology Department, supervised the graduation projects of the students in the department. The two students reviewed their graduation project - the Educational Process Management System (A2ISO) - and the features it contains and the services available in the system as well as the modern technologies on which the system was built. The discussion committee commended the project and recommended its implementation at the Emirates International University. For his part, Dr. Anwar Al-Shamiri, Head of the Information Technology Department, stressed the importance of specialization, considering that the dominant language today is the language of technology and that the world is now advancing with rapid steps in the field of information technology, noting that the College of Engineering in general and the Department of Information Technology in particular are striving towards achieving the remarkable distinction that It enables students to compete in the local and international labor market and they are also able to create new successes and innovations in their field of graduation. Dr. Amin Aqlan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the university, expressed the extent of the discussion committee’s satisfaction with the projects submitted by the students, which came as a first step for them on the road to success and a strong launch towards the local and international labor market, considering that the discussion of projects on this day came as a fruit to crown the efforts of the students. As a result of several academic years, during which students obtained a huge amount of theoretical and applied information that enabled them to graduate and achieve distinction. Aklan added that the university seeks to achieve more excellence in the aspects of information technology through the opening of a secondary department of information technology, which is concerned with the field of information security, which is a unique specialization at the level of public and private universities, and it is a vital and important specialization to keep pace with developments in the labor market.
