On Thursday, October 19, 2017, a number of graduation projects for students of the Information Technology Department at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the Emirates International University were discussed. Three graduation projects for three student groups were discussed in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean of Student Affairs, the Dean of the College of Engineering, the Head of the Information Technology Department, a number of academics, faculty members and their assistants at the university, a number of students and relatives of the graduate students. The discussion committee was composed of: Dr. Mukhtar Ghaylan, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Sarmi, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Balta, Dr. Ahmed Sultan, Prof. Akram Othman and Prof. Sundus Al-Nazari. The first graduation project, which was supervised by Dr. Mukhtar Ghaylan is a sewing laboratories management system, which is an integrated electronic system for organizing the work of financial and procedural sewing laboratories and customer service. The system works to facilitate manual procedural processes and follow them automatically, starting from the customer’s request through the sewing operations and ending with the receipt of the request. The system provides many administrative and statistical reports. The discussion committee approved the graduation project with distinction for students Salama Abdul-Khaleq Al-Akwa, Nazir Abdul-Khaleq Al-Akwa and Hisham Ali Al-Akwa. The second project for the second group is customer relationship management using the rules of engagement, which was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Sultan It is an electronic system that organizes the contents of shopping centers based on the needs of customers and the relationship of items with each other. The system supports live data from shopping centers and gives relational indicators between the items, facilitating the decision-making process in the redistribution of items in the commercial markets. The discussion committee approved the graduation project with distinction for the two students, Fatima Al-Maliki and Nermin Al-Humairi. While the project for the third group of students, Ibrahim Sanhan and Haitham Al-Amdi, was a management system for party requirements and supervision by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Balta is an automated system for managing parties and their requirements automatically without the need to go to the field, which saves effort and time. The system is open. It makes it easy for service owners to register their services, coupled with prices, quantities, descriptions, and photos, and enables the service applicant to choose and reserve services. The discussion committee approved the graduation project, with distinction.
