Emirates International University signed today a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Public Works and Roads to enable the university to benefit from the capabilities of the Ministry, its laboratories, workshops and laboratories in the field training and practical application of students of the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university. The cooperation agreement, which was signed on behalf of the Ministry by the Director General of Research and Laboratories in the Ministry, Eng. Khaled Omar Bashmakh, and on behalf of the University, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Farea Al-Azazi, included areas of cooperation and training, and the obligations of the University and the Ministry. The agreement aims to train students of the Civil Engineering Department at the university on the experiments, analyzes, weights, and laboratory preparations required to complete the courses for the third and fourth levels, with the aim of providing students with scientific and practical skills and training them in the field at work sites through practical application that qualifies them to acquire skills and practical experience that qualify them to join the labor market directly. after graduation. The Vice President of the Emirates International University for Academic Affairs expressed the university's thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Ministry and the General Administration of Research and Laboratories for their cooperation with the university and their keenness to provide training and qualification opportunities for students in a way that achieves cooperation and integration in meeting the requirements of development and the labor market in our country. The academic deputy was briefed on the modern and advanced capabilities, equipment, laboratories and laboratories supervised by the General Administration of Research and Laboratories at the Ministry of Works and listened to an explanation about the nature of training and application. .
