A delegation from the university, headed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Abdullah Farea Al-Azazi, participated in the consultative meeting held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research today, Monday, with private universities, to discuss the ongoing preparations for the reception of the 2018/2019 academic year. The meeting, which was chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Hussein Hazeb, and with the wide participation of the Ministry and its affiliated bodies, included the Undersecretary for the Planning and Policies Sector, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Shuaibi, the sector of government and private institutions, Dr. Yahya Al-Hadi, and the Vice-President of the Academic Accreditation Council, Dr. Anisa Abboud, the process of coordination, admission and registration for the academic year 2017 / 2018 AD, the electronic portal and the difficulties, as well as proposals for solutions and treatments for the academic year 2018 / 2019 AD based on the reports submitted by private universities. The dean of student affairs, Dr. Ali Seif Kulaib, the general registrar, Mr. Marwan Al-Zari, and the director of public relations at the university, Mr. Adel Abu Al-Asrar, participated in the consultative meeting on behalf of the university.
