The Council of the Emirates International University in Sana'a blessed the decision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees to appoint Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim as President of the University. In a telegram submitted by the Council to His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and to all members of the Council, the Council praised this step, which reinforces the strategic directions that the university is moving according to, to make a qualitative leap in all academic and administrative fields at the university. The Council stressed that the appointment of Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim represents a qualitative addition to the university, which, since its establishment, has sought to attract the best cadres, whether academic or administrative, in order to achieve the vision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees to bring the university to the refineries of international universities, integrating with the infrastructure of laboratories, laboratories, the educational environment and modern curricula that are distinguished The UAE University is in line with the rapid developments in various fields of science globally. In its telegram, the council indicated that the university operates according to an institutional work that depends on a single work team, and that all university employees, regardless of their academic and administrative positions, represent a homogeneous, cohesive and cooperative team and strive to achieve one goal, which is the continuation of the university's excellence and raising its status and advancing it according to the values ​​of sincerity, mastery, quality, creativity, initiative and perseverance. And Dr. Najeeb Muhammad Nasser Al-Kumaim holds a doctorate in business administration - specializing in total quality management from the International University of Sintalkment - June 2010. and a master's degree in the field of human resource development, University of Colorado, USA. August 2002. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Administrative Sciences, specializing in Accounting, 1997. Dr. Al-Kumaim held a number of duties, including Dean of the Community College - Sana’a - 2016-2018, Executive Director of Aptech International Institutes and the British NCC Institute in Yemen - 2005 - 2010, Secretary General of the University of Modern Sciences and Executive Director of the University since its establishment from 2005 to 2014 and Deputy Dean of Financial and Administrative Affairs - Community College - Sanhan - 2006-2008. Head of the Project Management Department - Community College - Sana'a - 2002-2006. He also worked as an assistant professor, Department of Administrative Sciences - Project Management - Community College - Sana'a - 2002 - until now and a lecturer in many Yemeni universities. Dr. Al-Kumaim has a number of local and international scientific participations and contributed to a number of scientific committees for the preparation and development of academic programs and curricula in a number of universities and community colleges.
