His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Hussein Hazeb, paid this Sunday morning an inspection visit to the university, during which he was briefed on the progress of the educational and examination process there. During the visit, he held an extensive meeting under his presidency, which included his advisors and the leadership of the UAE University, during which the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, welcomed the Minister and thanked him for this visit, reviewing the steps taken by the university during the previous period regarding the university’s commitment to the policies, laws and legislation of higher education, stressing that the university is taking continuous steps towards Excellence and the accumulation of its balance in this aspect that the university and its leadership have been keen on following since its establishment, according to its vision, mission and identity. The President of the University referred to the explicit directives and the great support of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for development and modernization, the continuation of excellence and quality, and the relentless pursuit of building a vision during the coming period that contributes to development, modernization and accumulating excellence. For his part, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, His Excellency Mr. Hussein Hazeb, indicated that his visit to the university comes within the framework of the ministry’s work program that it has prepared to go to the universities and review the educational process in them, stressing that the selection of the UAE University is the first private university to go to it and the inauguration of the field visit to private universities starting from This university is distinguished by its capabilities in various fields and for its scientific and academic standing. His Excellency the Minister praised the excellence that the University has pursued since its inception, congratulating the expansion of its buildings, which is the basis for competition in providing the requirements of the educational process. During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, welcomed the Minister, thanking him for the visit and the support of the Ministry of Higher Education to the university. During his speech, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees indicated the keenness of the Board of Trustees to raise the level of education at the university to the regional level, not just the local level, noting the steps taken. And the measures that have been taken that are in line with that vision and the policies that the Board of Trustees seeks to reach the university through in accordance with the legislation, laws and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and commitment to them and in order to achieve the provision of quality education and excellence contribute to the graduation of qualified cadres armed with the latest science and knowledge and in line with the rapid developments in This field is global. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees pointed to the tendency to develop the College of Medicine and Health Sciences to be one of the highest and best medical colleges in the region in accordance with regional and international standards, so that the departments of the Medical College become independent colleges for human medicine, dentistry, clinical pharmacy and laboratories, as well as working on all disciplines at the same pace, development and modernization. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, accompanied by his advisors and the university leadership, inspected the university’s infrastructure by visiting the laboratories, laboratories and classrooms, and listening to an explanation from specialists in laboratories and colleges about the quality equipment and capabilities that characterize the university. For the university, which comes in accordance with the university’s expansion plan to keep pace with the university’s plans in the areas of development, modernization and excellence, which was praised by His Excellency the Minister and his accompanying delegation, congratulating such steps to make a qualitative leap in the level of private higher education in Yemen.
