The university leadership meets the first university football team

Today, Tuesday, the university leadership met the members of the university’s first football team. The meeting was attended by the university president, Dr. Naguib Al-Kumaim, the university’s vice president, Dr. Abdullah Farea Al-Azazi, the dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, the dean of the College of Administration, Dr. Sinan Ghallab, the head of the Mechatronics Department, Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, and the general supervisor of the team. Professor Muhammed Mughales and the national team coach, Captain Mujeeb Al-Jaradi, assistant coach Khairallah Al-Jabri, and the administrative official and member of the national team, Captain Hamza Boksha, were absent due to emergency circumstances that prevented him from participating in the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, welcomed the members of the first university team, thanking them for their great efforts in order to reach the university’s semi-final round of the Yemeni Universities Championship within the second winter forum of Al-Wahda Club Sana’a. The President of the University conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, and his support for all student activities at the University, which contribute to highlighting the capabilities of students, refining their skills and creating successful leaders at various levels, in addition to the distinguished education they receive at the University. Stressing that the Chairman of the Board of Trustees follows up on all activities at the university and gives them great interest and great support for the interest and distinction of students. It is noteworthy that the first university football team managed to reach the semi-final stage to lead the competition with the universities participating in the second winter forum, and it is scheduled to face the University of the Future team today to qualify for the final stage of the tournament.
