Today, Sunday, the President of the Union of Arab Academics and Secretary General of the Union of Private Universities, Dr. Mohammed V Al-Mikhlafi, organized an inspection visit to the Emirates International University - Yemen, during which he was briefed on the infrastructure owned by the university, and listened to an explanation of the various aspects related to the progress of the educational process in it. During the visit, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, President of the University, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Federation of Private Universities and its Secretary General, Dr. Mohammed V Al-Mikhlafi, which will serve the continuation of the educational process in private universities, and overcome the difficulties facing their work, in coordination with the official and relevant authorities. The President of the University stressed that the leadership of the University, represented by the University’s Board of Trustees, headed by His Excellency the Chairman of the Council, Professor Sultan Al-Shaya, always seeks to adopt the finest and latest educational methods that keep pace with the rapid developments in this aspect globally, and in accordance with a vision and a scientific strategy, to graduate qualified cadres armed with science, knowledge and expertise. The process serves the country, the land and the human being, in a way that contributes to providing a distinguished model for private higher education in Yemen. For his part, the Secretary-General of the Union of Private Universities, Dr. Mohammed V Al-Mikhlafi, praised the university’s laboratories, laboratories, classrooms, qualified and distinguished teaching staff and educational curricula, which contribute to the graduation of distinguished cadres. Al-Mikhlafi also praised the advantages offered by the university to its students and the discounts and societal activities that the university contributes to providing to serve the people of society. The Secretary-General of the Federation of Private Universities indicated that the Federation is working to make maximum efforts to solve the issues and obstacles facing private universities and academics, through communication and coordination with the relevant authorities, extending thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the UAE University, for the good treatment and welcome he received during his visit to the university. The president of the union was accompanied by Dr. Abdel-Waseh Ghashim, a member of the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Academics. The Vice President of the University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Azazi, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhahiri, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, Dr. Fouad Muhammad Al-Adini, the legal advisor to the university, and a number of academics attended the university.
