Today, Saturday, the Emirates International University in Sana’a celebrated the graduation of the first batch of students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Dentistry, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research His Excellency Mr. Hussein Hazeb, and His Excellency Minister of State, Ms. Radhia Abdullah, and His Excellency Dr. Hamid Al-Mashjabi, Minister of State, and the leadership of the Emirates International University and its affiliates. In his welcoming speech, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, welcomed at the outset all the attendees, thanking them on behalf of the University’s Board of Trustees and its leadership, and on behalf of all its affiliates, for their participation in the university’s celebration of the graduation of the first batch of students from the Department of Dentistry. The President of the University stressed the keenness of the university leadership represented by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees to provide the appropriate environment and by using the latest technological means to enable male and female students to keep pace with the requirements of the modern era and the rapid developments in the educational fields. The President of the University noted that the University has started implementing its strategy 2020-2025, through practical steps, including the expansion of its infrastructure at the level of educational buildings, laboratories, laboratories and medical clinics, in an effort to continue the excellence pursued by the University at the national and regional levels. The President of the University congratulated the graduates, male and female graduates, and their parents, and invited them to be ambassadors for the University and its best representatives during their upcoming scientific and practical career. He also thanked the preparatory committee and everyone who contributed to organizing and arranging the ceremony. For his part, Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor thanked the leadership of the university, the deans of the faculties, faculty members, alumni and alumni and their parents, stressing that this occasion is exceptional in the life of every graduate, as it is the first batch of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Emirates International University. The Prime Minister praised the university, saying, "This university is one of the respected universities in Yemen, and it has relied on a distinguished cadre of academic cadres in all disciplines." Dr. Bin Habtoor also stressed that "the university is one of the scientific edifices that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is betting on... This ministry is very interested in this academic activity in private private universities, in addition to its great task in leading public universities." The Prime Minister also praised the university, saying, "This university also started with confident steps in the academic strategic aspects that the university launched four months ago, during which clear paths were set in order to continue its activities in a systematic manner, bypassing the duplication of specializations and the random selection of its cadres, an aspect that we commend and appreciate." The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, His Excellency Mr. Hussein Hazeb, extended his thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the university, represented by His Excellency Mr. Sultan Al-Shaya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, all the university leaders, its affiliates, and the students’ parents, and congratulated the graduation of the first batch of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Dentistry at the university.
