Today, Tuesday, the Emirates International University in Sana’a celebrated the birthday of the Prophet, 1441 AH, on his owner and his family, the best of prayers and peace, with an event organized by the university, attended by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Yemeni Universities Celebrations of the Birthday Celebrations, Dr. Ali Sharaf Al-Din and Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Hamdan Al-Shami. In a speech by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ali Sharaf El-Din, he stressed that the celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday is a station for drawing inspiration from lessons in adhering to the method of the Greatest Messenger and following his guidance and following his path. Dr. Sharaf El-Din pointed out the importance of reviving this glorious occasion to strengthen the authentic faith identity with its correct concepts and to embody the principles, values ​​and biography of the Noble Prophet in real life. He praised the support of the UAE University and its active participation in the major event for Yemeni universities, which was organized by the ministry last Sunday at Sana'a University. He reviewed the status of the people of Yemen and their virtues with the Noble Prophet, and their role in supporting the Noble Messenger and spreading Islam in various parts of the globe. He explained that the Yemenis were the first to celebrate the Messenger of God and who organized poetic verses and religious songs in celebration of his arrival, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Medina and chant them. The President of the University indicated that commemorating this anniversary is a station to provide the noble meanings and values ​​that the Holy Prophet carried in sacrifice, jihad, altruism and spreading love and peace, as well as his ability to bear and be patient and face difficulties in conveying the Muhammadan message. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim stressed that the university celebrates the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday in order to achieve its lofty message that calls for strengthening belonging to the Arab and Islamic nation represented by its Prophet and Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and to raise the level of education in accordance with the best scientific practices and of high quality, as education represents an obligation in our true Islamic religion to advance the reality of nation and keep pace with the rapid developments in various scientific fields. In turn, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf, Sheikh Saleh Al-Khulani, reviewed stations from the fragrant biography of the Prophet and his attributes of Muhammadiyah, stressing that the celebration of his birth anniversary is an invitation to emulate his behavior, follow his approach and adhere to his honorable morals. And he indicated that the legality of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday is derived from the Noble Qur’an for the Almighty’s saying: “Say, by the grace and mercy of God, so let them rejoice, which is better than what they gather.” Sheikh Al-Khawlani stressed that the importance of reviving this occasion lies in returning people to the faith identity and strengthening the unity of the ranks in facing the enemies of the nation.. He called on everyone to participate widely in the central ceremony commemorating the Prophet’s birthday on the 12th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal in the capital, Sana’a. The event, which was organized by the University Student Forum, was also attended by a number of social figures, deans of faculties, advisors, heads of departments, and academic and administrative staff at the university, in addition to a wide participation of university students from various disciplines. The event included a number of rhetorical, chanting and poetic paragraphs expressing the high status of the Messenger of the Ummah, Muhammad bin Abdullah, upon him and his family, the best of prayers and peace.
