UAE University students provide treatment aid to cancer patients

Yesterday, Wednesday, students of the Emirates International University in Sana'a provided therapeutic medical aid to the National Foundation for Cancer Control. This initiative comes within the framework of the fight it with a smile campaign launched by university students at the beginning of this year, which they started by implementing a charitable bazaar for the benefit of cancer patients. The first batch of medical aid included Neukine therapy (filgstirm), 100 ampoules used to boost the immunity of cancer patients after using chemotherapy, and a number of gifts for children with cancer. The student at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the UAE University Rania Al Hammadi, coordinator of the “Fight it with a Smile” campaign, indicated that they are happy that their campaign culminated in providing medical aid to patients and the needy at the National Cancer Control Foundation. All students in various public and private universities, institutes and colleges in order to create a spirit of solidarity and cooperation and to bring a smile to the sick and needy of different age groups.
