The conclusion of the second scientific week to discuss graduation projects in the departments of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the university

Today, Sunday, the second scientific week was concluded to discuss graduation projects in the departments of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the university, in the presence of the university president, Dr. Najib Al-Kumaim, the university’s legal advisor, Dr. Fouad Al-Haj, and the dean of the faculty of administrative and financial sciences, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kahali. In the closing event, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, spoke about the fact that any university that is not interested in research and the projects of its students is not much different from the basic education institutions of that UAE University and its leadership represented by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya. Great in order to achieve the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in accordance with the university’s strategy 2025 to achieve excellence at the regional level and maintain the university’s excellence locally. Considering that the outstanding projects presented by the students reflect the level of education they receive at the college. The President of the University commended the students who are proud of the university and who stood out through their research and graduation projects. He also praised the efforts made by the college, represented by its Dean, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kahali, and all its employees, and the good organization of the scientific week, whose establishment was considered a qualitative addition to the university. The President of the University congratulated the students for discussing projects and research and their graduation. He addressed a message to college students not to stop at the graduation stage, but to research, continue the educational journey, learn and gain more knowledge. The university president indicated that the university will activate the Alumni Unit to link distinguished graduates to the labor market and business institutions who communicate with the university to request the data of distinguished graduates for employment in those institutions. On the final day of the scientific week, 6 projects and research were discussed. Three graduation projects submitted by students of the Department of Management Information Systems were discussed. The project was a fingerprint verification system for the beneficiaries of an organization, which was presented by the students: Bunyan Basem, Malak Al-Sanani, Maha Abdulaziz, and Nawaf Al-Hammam, under the supervision of Dr. Sinan Ghallab. While the second project was modeling the systems of a chain of stores, submitted by the two students: Basma Al-Sharabi and Kholoud Al-Abbasi, under the supervision of Dr. Sinan Ghallab. The third project is an information support system for humanitarian organizations - Yemen, presented by the students: Nashwan Saleh Julidan, Saleh Nasser Al Dhaheri, Abdul Wahab Al-Gharbani, Osama Taher, and supervised by Dr. Sinan Ghallab. Four graduate research studies in the two departments of International Business Administration and the Department of Accounting in English were also discussed. The first research was "Measuring the Impact of Administrative Capacity on Profit Management", which was submitted by the students: Youssef Muhammad Abdul-Malik, Muhammad Tariq Al-Siyaghi, Osama Iskandar, Hisham Al-Ridha, Sarah Al-Suri, and supervised by Dr. Imad Al-Ramada. The second research, “The Impact of Accounting Information Systems on the Financial Performance of Hospitals in the Republic of Yemen,” was discussed, submitted by the two students: Maha Al-Eryani and Dalal Al-Ammari, under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Hammoud. The third research on economic globalization was discussed, which was presented by the student Maram Al-Qubati and supervised by Dr. Akram Othman. The fourth research, entitled "The Impact of Brand Name on Start-up Sales", was discussed, presented by the students: Abdullah Muhammad Al-Rad’i, Maha Muhammad Ismail, and Ali Al-Abyad, under the supervision of Dr. Imad Al-Ramada. The discussion committee for research was formed by Dr. Muhammad Al-Kahali as internal debater, Dr. Mokhtar Ghaylan, Dr. Wael Siddiq and Dr. Akram Othman as external discussants. The research presented by the students in the department had won the acceptance and praise of the discussion committee, which in turn praised the efforts made by the students, distinguished their research and touched on practical aspects. The discussion was attended by students from different departments of the college and parents of students. The other departments in the college will continue to discuss research and graduation projects for their students during the coming period, according to the discussion schedule approved by the college.
