The qualifiers for the 16th round of the Emirates University International Football League continue for the third day, which will be held at Al Wahda Club Stadium in the capital, Sana'a. On the third day of the qualifiers, four matches were held that brought together eight student teams from different departments and levels of university faculties. The first match witnessed the victory of a fifth-level pharmacy team over a third-level mechatronics team, with a goal free of charge. In the second match, the second level pharmacy team defeated the third level oil and gas team, by three goals without return. The third match also witnessed the victory of a second level medical equipment team over a second level mechatronics team with three goals. While the civil engineering team won the fourth match against the fourth level IT team by nine goals to one. The qualifiers between the teams will continue this week to qualify for the 16th League of the Emirates University Football Championship between the university's faculties.
