The Committee of the Higher Committee for Examinations and the subcommittees held a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, and in the presence of representatives of the relevant departments and departments. The meeting reviewed the ongoing preparations for holding the final exams for the second semester of the academic year 2019-2020 and creating the appropriate and comfortable atmosphere for the conduct of the exam process. The President of the University directed to work in accordance with the precautionary controls and procedures set by the university and accompanying the examination process to maintain the safety of students, the university’s academic and administrative staff and all workers participating in the exams in accordance with the decisions and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The president of the university stressed that maintaining the safety of students, professors and workers during exams comes first and above any consideration and taking strict measures and necessary measures in the event of a violation of the instructions, procedures and controls accompanying the conduct of the exam process. The precautionary measures that the university president directed to work included a detailed set of controls related to the rules of entry and exit to and from the university, examination halls, correction and control, the rules of theoretical and practical examinations, and the development of preventive instructions and clear guiding signs for students from the time the student entered the university until he left it. Where the directives included the wearing of masks by students, faculty and staff when entering the campus and throughout their stay there, the use of hand sanitizers, the use of sterilization gates, measuring the temperature of students upon entering, and leaving a distance of at least two meters between each student and the student next to him in each direction in the examination hall and disinfecting the halls. With disinfectants at the end of each exam period, sterilization and periodic disinfection of toilets. Being present for students an hour before the start of the exam, preventing gatherings, prohibiting the exchange of tools between students, preventing students from entering by phones, observing the time interval between exam periods, procedures for distribution of exams, collecting exam papers after the specified time has expired, keeping them, and correction procedures.
