The advisory team for the development and improvement of medical academic programs held its eighth meeting yesterday, headed by Dr. Najib Al-Kumaim, President of the University, to determine the level of implementation of the chronic matrix and the level of achievement in it, within the framework of the university’s keenness to continue excellence and upgrade academic programs in accordance with national and reference standards and standards for special accreditation of medical programs and WFME. The meeting also reviewed the reports submitted by the heads of the technical committees of the medical programs "Human Medicine - Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery - Clinical Pharmacy - Medical Laboratories", which included the level of achievement and implementation of the plans prepared for development at the level of each program. The meeting was attended by members of the advisory team, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, Vice President of the University, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Acting Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, and a. Marwan Al-Zari, Acting Dean of Student Affairs and a. Ibtisam Al-Majmar, Director of Academic Affairs, Prof. Jamila Abdel-Wali, Planning and Institutional Development Officer at the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, the national expert, Dr. Noaman Fairouz, and the legal advisor, Dr. Fouad Al-Haj. The meeting was also attended by the invitation of the team leader, the brothers heads of the technical teams for the development of medical academic programs, Dr. Sadeq Abdel-Mughni, Head of the Department of Human Medicine, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shamy, Head of the Dental Department, and Dr. Mukhtar Al-Garafi, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department.
