Today, Monday, the university organized a ceremony in honor of the top students in the university’s colleges “Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, College of Dentistry, College of Engineering and Information Technology, College of Administrative and Financial Sciences” in all disciplines and levels, for the academic year 2019-2020, under the patronage of the President of the University, Dr. Najib Al-Kumaim, and in cooperation With the University Student Forum, in the presence of the deans of faculties, heads of scientific departments, a number of faculty members and their assistants, a number of directors of departments and related departments, and the Secretary-General of the University Student Forum. In the ceremony, which began with verses from the Holy Qur’an, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the top students from all disciplines of the university and their parents, expressing the university’s pride in all its students, affiliates and first students, who defied all circumstances to achieve the best results in their studies. He praised the efforts of the academic and administrative staff of the university's employees that support the students' excellence and distinction. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim pointed out that the university has taken excellence as a permanent slogan, and has harnessed all capabilities to achieve this, providing an overview of the development that the university has witnessed in recent years in the academic, administrative and infrastructure aspects in accordance with its strategy 2025 and with the support of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, to create the educational environment in which the student finds the opportunity to learn, unleash his creativity and develop his abilities and skills, in order to graduate qualified cadres to serve the country and supply the labor market with qualified cadres armed with science and knowledge with high quality according to the latest local and international standards in the field of higher education. After that, the president of the university, accompanied by the deans of the faculties and heads of the concerned departments, honored the top students with certificates of appreciation and distinction.
