The Emirates International University organizes a closing event on the anniversary of the martyr and honoring the families of the martyrs

The Emirates International University in Sana'a organized today, 2 Jumada Al-Akhira 1446 AH corresponding to December 4, 2023 AD, the closing event for the annual anniversary of the martyr, and honoring the families of the martyrs from the university's affiliates under the slogan "The sacrifices of the martyrs resulted in pride, victory and strength." 

The activities of the annual anniversary of the martyr organized by the Emirates University included "holding 8 awareness seminars in all colleges for male and female students of the university about the greatness of the martyrs and their sacrifices in defending the pride and dignity of the homeland, as well as a visit by university members to the shrine and exhibition of the martyred President Al-Samad and his companions in Al-Sab'een, a visit to the garden of the martyrs of Al-Khamsin, the opening of the exhibition and models of the martyrs, and honoring their families from the university's affiliates." 

 In the closing event, attended by the Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Eng. Mohammed Al Dhaifani, the President of the Emirates International University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al Mufri, stressed the importance of commemorating the annual Martyr's Day and making it an awareness and mobilization station and recalling the heroic lessons and stances written by the great martyrs in order to defend the homeland, its security and independence. 

I consider the Martyr's Day a station to stand in their embrace and draw inspiration from their school of giving, sacrifice and generosity and to enhance the spirit of jihad and martyrdom in the souls of generations to be able to confront tyrants and oppressors. 

The President of the University pointed to the status and position of the martyrs with God, who honored them with eternal life and removed death from their list and made them alive with their Lord, providing for them, happy with what God has given them from His grace and placed them in the status of the righteous and prophets.. stressing that with the culture of the Qur'an, jihad and martyrdom, nothing will remain in the hands of our enemies that frightens us, as a nation that loves martyrdom for the sake of God, nothing will remain in the hands of its enemies that frightens it. 

 He explained that the security, tranquility, pride, dignity and unparalleled strong positions we enjoy today towards the Palestinian cause, the injustice of Gaza and Lebanon and the targeting of American destroyers are the result of the culture of jihad and martyrdom and thanks to the blood of the martyrs after God Almighty. 

The university president pointed out the responsibility placed on everyone and benefiting from the martyrs as models of patience, work, sacrifice, high spirits, sincerity and honesty, stressing the need to be loyal to the martyrs and follow the path of those who drew with their pure blood the path to liberating Jerusalem and Palestine and caring for their families and taking care of them. 

In the event attended by the university's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, deans of colleges and members of the academic and administrative staff, student Osama Hisham indicated in a speech on behalf of the families of the martyrs that the annual anniversary of the martyr is an annual station to remember the meanings of sacrifice, giving and giving in order to defend the pride and dignity of the homeland and defeat the invadrs and occupiers.

He stressed that the great march of the martyrs is a march of pride and dignity that raised the stature of the Yemenis and enabled, through this constellation, Yemen to become a difficult number among nations. Expressing pride and honor in these great and righteous martyrs whom God honored with a great status and position and made them shine in the sky of eternal eternity and God's paradise with the prophets and the righteous, and good are those companions. 

The event included the presentation of two poems by the poets Wadah Al-Humaisi and Youssef Al-Dailami, expressing the greatness of the sacrifices made by the martyrs in order to raise the banner of truth and religion and support the oppressed, followed by honoring the families of the university's members. 

In addition, the university organized a solidarity stand entitled "Blessings to Lebanon, and with Gaza until victory, and the occupation until its end" with the participation of the university's leaders from academics, administrators and students. 

 The statement issued by the vigil confirmed the response to the call of the leader of the revolution, to make more efforts militarily, popularly and in all fields to support the Palestinian people, congratulating our great Yemeni people on the 57th anniversary of independence and the expulsion of the last occupying British soldier from the south of the homeland, calling on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation that the sons of Palestine are still being subjected to killing and genocide at the hands of the Zionists without any of them moving a finger.
