The Emirates International University organizes a solidarity stand with Palestine and Lebanon under the slogan: “Loyalty to the Martyr Leaders... With Gaza and Lebanon until victory”

In the presence of the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, a number of deans of colleges, academic and administrative leaders, employees, and a large crowd of students, the Emirates International University organized today, Wednesday, 27 Rabi` al-Thani 1446 AH, corresponding to October 30, 2024 AD, a solidarity stand with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples under the title “Loyalty to the Martyr Leaders... With Gaza and Lebanon until victory.”

In the weekly solidarity stand organized by the university to emphasize the continuation of solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for their just cause and to denounce the crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza and southern Lebanon, the participants chanted slogans denouncing the Arab, Islamic, and international silence regarding the escalation of the horrific Israeli massacres against the people of northern Gaza and the occupation’s adoption of a policy of displacement and ethnic cleansing.

 The statement issued by the solidarity stand expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to Hezbollah, the Lebanese people, and the Arab and Islamic nation, for the martyrdom of the head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, the Mujahid scholar Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces, stressing the continuation of the path of the martyred leaders until victory, God willing. 

The statement stressed the unity of ranks among the resistance forces in the region, emphasizing that the option of jihad and steadfastness is the only way to confront the Israeli enemy, and called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation to confront the Israeli aggression by all available means. 

Adding to the Arab and Islamic nation, the statement added, "The criminal Zionist enemy does not hide its ambitions to control and enslave you, and does not stop talking about what it calls Greater Israel, which includes a large area of your Arab and Islamic countries, including your holy sites in Mecca and Medina." 

 The statement expressed sorrow for the state of the Arab and Islamic nation in some of its countries' alignment with the enemy and its conspiracies and plans to target those who stand and sacrifice to defend the nation, its sanctities and its national security. 

The statement saluted what it described as the "legendary steadfastness and historical heroism" of the heroes of the resistance in all arenas of jihad and resistance, especially the heroes of the resistance in the honorable Gaza Strip who have been tormenting the enemy for more than a year despite the siege, destruction, and policy of starvation and displacement pursued by Israel in Gaza with the support of the United States and a number of colonial Western countries. 

The statement stressed the continuation of the Yemeni people in supporting the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon with all determination and effectiveness, regardless of the challenges and dangers.
