Within the activities of the scientific week, graduation projects for students of the Mechatronics and Oil and Gas Engineering Department were discussed.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology discussed, within the framework of the activities of the college's scientific week, a number of graduation projects in the Mechatronics and Oil and Gas departments, for the academic year 1445 AH corresponding to 2023-2024 AD. 

 

 

 

8 distinguished industrial projects were discussed for students of the Mechatronics Engineering Department as follows: 

1. Design And Manufacturing Large Scale 3d Concrete Printer 

2. Multi Form Production Line 

3. Environment Generator for Indoor Farming 

4. Wheelchair Stairs Climber 

5. Design and Implementation of High Accuracy 3-Axis Plasma Machine 

6. Design and development of A Multi-purpose UV Inkjet Printer 

7. Fully Automation 3D printer & CNC 

8. Design and implementation of smart language glove translation-based on IoT 

 

The discussion committee consisted of: 

1. Assistant Professor Radwan Al-Badhiji, Head of the Department 

2. Assistant Professor Farouk Al-Fahidi, Faculty Member in the Department 

3. Eng. Hajar Al-Maqalih, Department Teaching Assistant 

4. Eng. Hossam El-Din Al-Sabry, Department Teaching Assistant 

5. Eng. Naseem Hamid and Eng. Ahmed Salah, graduates of the department and representatives of the labor market. 

 

The discussion was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Farea, Dean of the College, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Malik Al-Jabri, Faculty Member in the Department of Cyber Security. Two projects were also discussed in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering "one of which was discussed earlier" as follows:

Well Test Analysis to Characterize Qishan Clastic Member Reservior in Sharyoof Field Block 53"

"Well Test Analysis to Identify the Reservoir Characteristics in the Qishan Clastic Layer in Sharyoof Field Block 53"

 

Submitted by the students: Riyadh Shaya, Ali Ghorab, Suleiman Al-Natih, Hashem Al-Washli and Hafez Shaya. Supervised by Engineer Muhammad Hassan Abbas. The discussion committee consisted of: Dr. Ibrahim Farea, Dr. Nasser Al-Maafa, and Engineer Muhammad Abbas.

 

While the second group presented its project:

 

Title: "Using Machine Learning to Create a Virtual Model (Fuzzy Logic) to Estimate the Drilling Speed Rate and Compare It with Mathematical Models in the Al-Tawila Field, Al-Masilah Sector"

 

The project was submitted by the students: Ali Al-Khawlani, Hisham Al-Hakimi, Ihab Al-Absi and Anan Al-Jawfi, Abdullah Zawiya and Khattab Fadel. Supervised by Prof. Ibrahim Farea.
