A scientific symposium on the experience of the Information Technology Center and the center's systems for the university's information technology students

The College of Engineering and Information Technology organized, within the framework of the college's scientific week activities, a scientific symposium on the experience of the Information Technology Center from its establishment in 2007 until now.

The symposium aimed to shed light on the experience of the Information Technology Center and the center's systems, which are considered a model in the field of technology management and providing digital services to Yemeni higher education institutions.

The symposium, presented by the Information Technology Center team, Engineer Rasha Ibrahim Al-Khalidi and Engineer Zaki Ahmed Al-Thawr, reviewed a list of the systems that the center has built to support public and private universities, especially the SAR records system, the financial system, the electronic portal, the library system, and the search engine.

The symposium also reviewed the software environments used and the reasons for using them, the difficulties and obstacles that the center faced and how to overcome them.

 The seminar received great interaction from the students, who expressed their thanks to those in charge of it, stressing the importance of these activities in developing their skills, abilities and knowledge of practical aspects of the labor market. 

The seminar, which was moderated by the Head of the Information Technology Department, Dr. Adnan Al-Mutawakel, was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, and the Training Center Manager, Eng. Fathi Salman.
