The Emirates University organized, today, Wednesday, 17 Safar 1446 corresponding to August 21, 2024, a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people and in support of the Palestinian resistance, under the title "In support of Al-Aqsa and Gaza.. Support continues and the response is coming" in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, a number of deans of colleges and heads of departments, the university's academic and administrative staff, and a wide participation of university students.

 

The participants in the stand chanted slogans expressing rejection and denunciation of the crimes of the Zionist occupation, and slogans supporting and in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance, and the options of the axis of resistance in responding to the Zionist entity. In the speech of the stand delivered by the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Fareh, he reminded the sons of the Arab and Islamic nation that the enemy has committed three thousand five hundred and thirty-five mass massacres against Our brothers in Gaza, in light of American and Western support, global silence, conspiracy and Arab and Islamic inaction, and called on the normalizing and indifferent Arab rulers to take a stand towards the crimes of genocide taking place in Gaza that are shameful to humanity.

 

The university president, Dr. Nasser Al-Mufri, had pointed out the importance of participating in solidarity stands and weekly marches and activating the weapon of economic boycott, in awareness of our religious responsibilities and in response to the directives of God Almighty.

 

In the official statement issued about the stand, the statement saluted with reverence and appreciation the historic steadfastness of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people and their dear Mujahideen in the face of the Zionist killing machine, who wrote the most wonderful examples of steadfastness, giving, steadfastness and sacrifice, and foiled the enemies' plans, and shattered their hopes and dreams.

 

 Affirming and blessing the qualitative operation of the Qassam Brigades that targeted with two missiles the depth of the Zionist enemy entity "occupied Jaffa" after more than ten months of Zionist aggression that burned everything in the Gaza Strip.

 

The statement expressed the participants' condemnation of the practices and violations carried out by the Zionist enemy against the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, in a dangerous escalation and a test of the feelings of all Muslims around the world.

 

The statement also saluted the Mujahideen of our Yemeni Armed Forces who are proceeding in the battle of the promised conquest and the holy jihad with steady and increasing steps, overcoming difficulties and obstacles thanks to God Almighty under the leadership of Sayyid Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him.

 

The statement added, saying to the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation: Do you see what we see? And hear what we hear? Are you still alive? Why don't you move? Aren't you afraid of a blazing fire? And a shame that will not be forgotten? Go out to let the world hear your voices and your rejection of these brutal crimes and to disavow them to God, so that you will not be partners in them.

 

 At the end of the statement, all the staff and students of the Emirates International University blessed the formation of the government of change and construction as a first step in the first phase of radical change, and they asked God to grant its members success in all their tasks and responsibilities in this difficult, sensitive and exceptional stage that requires concerted efforts and cooperation from everyone, and they affirmed their full support and absolute endorsement of all the steps and measures taken by the leadership in the path of radical change.
