Conclusion of the discussion of graduation projects for students of the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering and Information Technology

The Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University concluded today, Monday, the discussion of graduation projects for students of the Department of Architecture, in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, the Head of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Ahmed Yafaa, and a number of faculty members at the college, discussion and supervision committees, and parents of students.

During the review of the projects, the President of the University stressed the importance of these projects that reflect the excellence of the university's outputs and academic staff, and praised the performance of the students, stressing the importance of the role of the architect in building and developing society. He also congratulated the college and faculty members on their efforts in preparing this group of graduates qualified for the labor market. He also urged students to continue striving for excellence and creativity, and to contribute to the development of the construction and building sector in the country.

The graduation projects included a variety of innovative architectural designs that reflect students' interest in contemporary challenges in the field of sustainable construction and design. The students discussed their projects before a specialized jury, which praised the level of the projects presented by the students and the quality of the presentations they gave. 

15 graduation projects submitted by the department's students were discussed as follows: Zakaria Abdo Baas, Investment City Project, Shihab Abdullah Hamdeen, College of Architecture and Environment Project, Ahmed Sadiq Al-Zaidi, Innovation Center Project, Ali Ali Al-Fahd, Street Children Rehabilitation Project, Siddiq Ajash, Museum of Civilizations Project, Ibrahim Al-Kumaim, Agricultural Research Center Project, Ala Al-Tayeb, Crafts Center Project, Muhammad Qubaiza, Commercial Entertainment Complex Project, Murad Taher, Sakina Island Project, Saeed Al-Ariqi, Tourist Village Project, Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi, Marine Biology Research Center Project, Muhammad Amin Pasha, Energy Recycling Project, Ali Al-Wasabi, Cultural Center Project, Osama Al-Jaradi, Contemporary Art Museum Project, Abdul Rahman Nahshal, Interactive Science Museum Project. 

 The discussion committee was formed by the supervisors: Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Yafaa and Dr. Khaled Mohammed Al-Shraim, and the discussion committee: Professor Dr. Najib Al-Maqtari, Assistant Professor Dr. Samira Al-Shawish and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri. Which praised the projects submitted by the students and the efforts made by them to come up with distinguished projects that simulate reality and contribute to presenting a scientific architectural vision that contributes to serving the community.
