Organizing the second scientific conference for e-learning in Yemen at the end of November

The activities of the second scientific conference for e-learning in higher education institutions in Yemen will be launched in the capital, Sanaa, at the end of this month, organized by the Information Technology Center in Higher Education, in partnership with the Emirates International University and the University of Science and Technology. The Executive Director of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Fouad Hassan Abdul Razzaq, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the conference, which will be attended by researchers from: Yemen, Jordan, Libya, Sudan, Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain and Malaysia, aims to enrich aspects related to e-learning from a research perspective. and contribute to the development of controls for regulating e-learning, as it has become a strategic choice in various educational institutions today. He stressed that the conference also aims to study and analyze the challenges facing the application of e- and virtual education in educational institutions, orienting the future of e-learning in Yemen, and fueling the spirit of competition in providing the best innovative solutions in e-learning, as well as keeping pace with modern aspirations and trends in e- and virtual education and exchanging scientific and technical experiences regarding among the participating researchers. He pointed out that the conference seeks to produce fruitful results that include evaluating what has been achieved from the outcomes of the first conference and discussing ways to develop performance and overcome problems and obstacles facing the educational process in its electronic parts, infrastructure and requirements, especially in the current situation that the country suffers from as a result of the aggression and siege. The Director of the Center indicated that the conference will last for two days, and will deal with 25 papers distributed on several axes.
