The Academic Accreditation Council receives self-evaluation files for three academic programs from the Emirates International University

 Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Hussein Hazeb, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, within the academic accreditation procedures and in completion of the programmatic accreditation steps. 

 

 On Saturday morning, the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education received the self-evaluation files for three academic programs in medicine, oral and dental surgery, information technology, and international business management at the Emirates International University. 

 

 During the handover, Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, Vice President of the Council, confirmed that program accreditation has today become an obligation on all universities without exception. 

 

 Prof. Dr. Al-Shuaibi also confirmed that there is seriousness on the part of some universities by working to complete the requirements for obtaining program accreditation and holding many related workshops. Al-Shuaibi also explained that the Council is in the process of completing the discussion of some of the final reports of the academic programs for which the teams of external reviewers have submitted, and is preparing for the next stage by reviewing many of the self-evaluation files for some of the programs that have been submitted. 

 

 On the other hand, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, President of the Emirati University, confirmed that the university had completed the preparation of a self-evaluation study for three academic programs to include the observations put forward by the verification and field technical support committees that went to the university, and after ensuring the readiness of these programs, they were handed over to the council to complete the program accreditation steps. . 

 

 While the Acting Director General of Accreditation, Dr. Hoda Al-Sanhani, received the self-evaluation study for the three programs, provided that the Council reviews these files by the Council’s experts and then forms teams for external reviewers and addresses the university to approve or object to the names of the teams so that the files can be studied and initial reports submitted to the Council and those who have been Going to the field to verify evidence and evidence for the programs. 

 

 The handover was attended by members of the Council, Prof. Dr. Noman Fairouz, Prof. Dr. Anwar Masoud, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Saafani, Director General of Evaluation, Mr. Nasr Madar, Legal Advisor, and Dr. Hussein Hanash, Director General of Auditing.
