The Center for Development and Quality Assurance and the College of Medicine and Health Sciences conduct a workshop to review the general pharmacy program document

 The Center for Development and Quality Assurance, in cooperation with the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, implemented it today, Thursday, April 25, 2024 AD. A workshop on “Reviewing and Enriching the General Pharmacy Program Description Document,” in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, the Deputy Dean of the College, Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Mughni, the Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi, and the Head of the Medical Laboratories Department. Dr. Abdel Baset Al-Ghouri, a number of specialists in general pharmacy, a number of academics, students and representatives of the labor market.

 At the opening of the workshop, the university president welcomed the participants, noting that the introduction of the general pharmacy program constitutes a qualitative addition to the university’s specializations in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, and in implementation of the university’s 2025 strategy, stressing the importance of this workshop in developing the general pharmacy program document and enhancing its quality.

 The University President praised the efforts of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, the College of Medicine, and the participants in the workshop to develop the program document, stressing the importance of the outcomes of this workshop contributing to ensuring the quality of the program and its compatibility with the needs of the labor market.

 The workshop, which was moderated by the Dean of the Quality and Academic Development Center, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, aimed to review and approve the general pharmacy program specifications document, which was prepared by an elite group of professors specialized in this field: Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi, Dr. Sami Ahmed Saeed, and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Burahi.

 The workshop resulted in a number of important recommendations, which would develop the general pharmacy program document and enhance its quality, ensuring the graduation of qualified and highly efficient cadres that meet the needs of the labor market.

 The workshop was also attended by a group of experts, academics, their assistants, representatives of the labor market and students.
