The UAE University participates in the second table tennis tournament and the first badminton tournament for Yemeni university students

 The Emirates International University participated in the second table tennis tournament and the first badminton tournament, which is organized for Yemeni university students, as part of the national vision projects for building the modern Yemeni state, and organized by the Educational Affairs Sector, managing the competitive competitions project, under the slogan “You are not alone,” and under the sponsorship of His Excellency Mr. Hussein Hazib. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 Twenty public and private universities participate in the second table tennis tournament and the first badminton tournament. The tournament lasts for three days, and the winners of first, second and third places will be honored.

 The championship was inaugurated by Dr. Ghaleb Al-Qans, Undersecretary for Educational Affairs. During the inauguration, he expressed his happiness at the completion of the competition activities sponsored by the Ministry during the year 1445 AH. He said that these activities contributed greatly to unifying sports, scientific and intellectual activities in Yemeni universities and did not disperse these activities under the umbrella of the Ministry of Higher Education.

 The first day witnessed a competition between universities, where the university’s table tennis player Karim Al-Saqqaf qualified for the second stage, and the qualifiers between the qualified teams are scheduled to be completed tomorrow, Monday.

 The inauguration was attended by the Director of the Competitions Project, the General Director of Private Education, Mr. Fouad Ahmed Al-Haddah, the Director of the Competitions Competitions Project, Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, the General Director of Activities at the Ministry and Head of the Competitions Project Team, Mr. Muhammad Zahra, the General Director of Public Education, Mr. Yahya Al-Dhaani, the Director-General of Information at the Ministry, and Ms. Sahar Al-Kahlani. Director of Activities at the UAE University, and a number of Activities Directors at participating universities.
