Today, Sunday, the open workshops on awareness and development of the second level for university staff concluded, which continued for four days.

The closing workshop was presented by Dr. Ali Sharaf al-Din, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in which he spoke about faith identity and its role in confronting the Zionist enemy. He began the lecture by offering congratulations on the occasion of Friday of Rajab, the Yemeni holiday.

In the lecture, Dr. Ali Sharaf El-Din discussed the role of faith identity in confronting the Zionist enemy, pointing out that the conflict between the Islamic nation and the Zionist entity is an ideological conflict, and that faith identity is the most powerful weapon through which the Islamic nation can confront this enemy.

He explained that faith identity gives the Islamic nation the strength of faith, determination and will that enables it to withstand the Zionist enemy and confront it with all strength and fortitude.

He reviewed the role that the Yemenis played in supporting Islam since the dawn of history, as they were among the first to enter into it, and among those who defended it the most, and spread it throughout the world.

He touched on the role played by the Yemenis in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause, and the heroic stances embodied by the Yemeni people in confronting the Zionist enemy to achieve victory for our brothers in the Gaza Strip.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Fouad Hanash, Secretary-General of the University, expressed his happiness at the success of the Open Awareness and Advancement Workshops programme, which aimed to raise the knowledge of the university staff and enhance their role in achieving the university’s goals.

More than 100 male and female employees from various administrative and academic departments at the university participated in the open workshops, which lasted four days.

During the workshops, they covered a number of important topics, including:
