Closing of the Martyr's Week activities at the UAE University

 Today, Thursday, the Emirates International University and the University Student Forum organized the final central event for the martyr’s anniversary activities 1445 AH, with a speech event, an exhibition of pictures and models, and honoring the families of the martyrs.

 At the event, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ali Sharaf El-Din, pointed out the significance of commemorating the annual martyr’s anniversary in commemorating the martyrs and making it an awareness and mobilization station, recalling the lessons and heroic stances of the sacrifices of the martyrs in defending the homeland, and expressing the covenant and loyalty to them in following their path until achieving the triumphant victory.

 The Deputy Minister of Higher Education considered that commemorating the occasion was a duty to express loyalty to the families of the martyrs and to express appreciation, gratitude, and celebrate the sacrifices of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the pride, dignity, sovereignty, and independence of the nation.

 In the opening speech of the event, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, President of the UAE University, stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw inspiration from the meanings of pride and dignity and to remember the contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs in the face of challenges, enemies, oppressors, and arrogant tyrants.

 The university president pointed out the importance of everyone feeling responsible and loyal to the families and relatives of the martyrs by touching on their needs, providing their requirements, and following their path, embodying the values and principles for which the martyrs sacrificed.

 The ceremony included reciting poems, followed by honoring the families and relatives of the martyrs, university members and their families, in gratitude for the sacrifices, sacrifices, and bravery of the martyrs.

 In addition, the Deputy Minister, Dr. Ali Sharaf El-Din, the University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, Professor Ibrahim Al-Washli, and a number of academic and administrative staff, visited the exhibition of models and pictures expressing the sacrifices of the martyrs and the heroic stances they took in defending the nation, its security, and its independence.

 The event was attended by deans of colleges, a number of heads of scientific departments, a number of the university’s academic and administrative staff, the Secretary General of the University Student Forum, and university students from various colleges.
