A scientific visit for architecture students to the tourist city

 The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering organized a field visit for the department’s third-level students to the tourist city as part of the Architectural Design 5 courses, accompanied by the subject’s doctor, A.M.D. Samira Al-Shawish and lecturer, Eng. Weam Makki.

 The visit aimed to get to know closely one of the applied projects that simulates the projects taken within the course syllabi for this semester, which includes a residential group containing villas and buildings, and a commercial complex containing shops, restaurants, cafes, a nursery, services, game halls, a cinema, a water park, and others.

 During the visit, the students moved between the important residential group in the tourism city, which consists of pre-cast Russian buildings and motels under construction. The students were accompanied during the visit by the tourism city’s projects director, Eng. Suhaib Al-Sharabi explained to them the vision of the future tourist city in terms of expansion and renewal. The subject doctor explained the method of connecting residential and service buildings, taking into account guidance and taking into account the width of the required streets, water drainage and other relevant aspects. The students benefited greatly from the disembarkation and submitted reports on the disembarkation. field and was delivered to the subject doctor.
