UAE University students participate in the Cleaning 1/1 campaign under the slogan “Together for a Cleaner Environment.”

 Today, Monday, students of the Emirates International University participated in the 1/1 campaign organized by the Activities Department and the University Student Forum under the slogan “Together for a Cleaner Environment.”

 The students began the campaign by cleaning the university campus, the neighborhood in which it is located, and the streets leading to it, where they collected garbage and waste and placed them in the designated containers. Students from all colleges and specializations of the university participated in the campaign.

 During the campaign, the students stressed the importance of participating in cleaning campaigns, because of their role in preserving the environment and improving the general appearance. They also urged citizens to commit to cleanliness and cooperate with the relevant authorities in maintaining a clean environment.

 The campaign aimed to spread the values and culture of cleanliness and its importance in establishing a clean environment and creating a healthy society. Achieving a good level of cleanliness, preserving and protecting the environment, and presenting the capital’s neighborhoods with their appropriate appearance, to be clean, exemplary, and an address for its residents.
